Overnight Boarding

About Canine Courtyard
Canine Courtyard is an indoor, climate controlled facility located in Flower Mound, Texas. We provide several different sized runs to fit almost any dog, including large 8X8 runs for large animals or for those who prefer to stay together.  All boarding guests are taken outside to our outdoor, fenced play area a minimum of 4 times daily. Because we want all dogs to enjoy their all-inclusive vacation, treats and playtime are all included at no extra charge.  We provide interactive playtime for those of our guests who have been socialized and play well with their neighbors.  All dogs participating in social activities must be spayed or neutered. Medications are also administered at no additional charge. (Please note:  We do not give injections.)

Tips for a Successful Boarding Experience
    • Proof of current vaccinations is required.  This includes Rabies, Distemper and Parvo (usually given as DHLPP) as well as Bordetella (Kennel Cough).  The intra-nasal Bordetella is required semi-annually.  The injection is sufficient annually.  NOTE: The Bordetella must be administered at least 72 hours prior to your visit.  The vaccination needs this time to take effect in your dog's system.
    • Bringing your pet's regular food while they are staying here will reduce their chances of suffering an upset stomach during their stay.  If desired, we can supply our guests with food at a minimal charge of only $1 per day.
    • If food is provided, it should be in an airtight container (ex. tupperware) or in Ziploc bags.
    • Feel free to bring some small belongings for your pets such as bedding and toys. We do provide beds, but just like us, most dogs will feel more comfortable with their own bed or something from home to cuddle up with during their stay.  So that we are able to keep their bedding clean, all bedding must fit in a regular sized washing machine and be machine washable.
    • Please do not bring rawhides or pigs ears.
    • If you are bringing more than one guest, please make sure all dogs can get along in one run area, especially during meal times.  Food aggression is common even among dogs that are usually the best of friends.  Be sure to let the front office know of any concerns no matter how minor.
